Don’t Lose Yourself in the Process
Have you ever been so overwhelmed by life that you slowly started losing sight of who you are, your purpose, and the path God placed before you?

Life has a way of testing us in seasons we never expected. Sometimes the process God takes us through can feel lonely, painful, confusing, and exhausting. Whether it is separation from a relationship, losing a job, rejection from family, losing friendships, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, those moments can slowly begin to change you if you are not careful.
During difficult seasons, many people lose themselves trying to survive the process instead of growing through it.
We begin listening to the wrong voices. We seek guidance from people without using discernment to understand whether their intentions are good or harmful. Sometimes we allow outside opinions, negativity, jealousy, or fear to distract us from our purpose and pull us away from the direction God originally had for us.
And without realizing it, we begin delaying our own blessings.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5-6
Not every voice speaking into your life is sent by God.
That is why discernment is so important.
There are people who will project their fears onto you because they are afraid to walk in their own calling. There are people who will discourage your growth because your purpose makes them uncomfortable. And there are seasons where God intentionally separates you from certain people so He can protect your peace, strengthen your faith, and redirect your focus.
But even in the middle of loss, rejection, loneliness, or setbacks, you cannot allow yourself to lose who you are.
The process is meant to strengthen you, not destroy you.
Sometimes God allows separation because He is preparing you for elevation. Sometimes closed doors are not rejection — they are protection. Sometimes loneliness is where God teaches us to rely on Him instead of depending on the validation of others.
Every setback is not the end.
Every delay is not denial.
Every season of isolation is not abandonment.
Some seasons are necessary for growth.
The enemy wants distraction, confusion, negativity, fear, and low energy to keep you disconnected from your purpose. But God wants clarity, healing, wisdom, peace, and spiritual growth.
Do not let temporary pain make you forget your calling.
Stay connected to God during every season. Pray for discernment. Protect your peace. Pay attention to who influences your spirit, your mindset, and your decisions.
Because not everyone walking beside you is meant to lead you.
And no process God allows you to go through should ever cause you to lose yourself.
You are still chosen.
You are still growing.
You are still becoming the person God created you to be.
Trust the process, but do not lose yourself in it.
