Be Still and Know
Have you ever felt frustrated because life was not moving as quickly as you wanted it to? We live in a world where everything is instant — fast answers, fast results, fast success. So when things do not happen in our timing, it can leave us feeling discouraged, anxious, or even forgotten. But what if the waiting season is where God is doing His greatest work within us?

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10
This verse is simple, yet so powerful. Many of us struggle with being still because we are constantly trying to figure everything out on our own. We want immediate answers. We want doors to open right away. We want healing, success, relationships, and breakthroughs the moment we pray for them.
But God does not always work on our schedule.
Sometimes the waiting season is not punishment — it is preparation.
God may be teaching us patience when we want control. He may be building our faith when we feel uncertain. He may even be protecting us from things we are not ready for yet.
Being still does not mean giving up or losing hope. It means trusting God even when we cannot see the full picture. It means choosing faith over fear and peace over panic.
There are moments in life where silence feels uncomfortable because we are so used to rushing ahead. But often, it is in the quiet moments that God speaks the loudest. The waiting season can strengthen us, shape us, and draw us closer to Him.
Sometimes we ask God for answers, while God is asking us to trust Him first.
If you are in a season where you feel stuck, delayed, or uncertain, remember this:
What God has for you will never miss you.
His timing may not always make sense in the moment, but His plans are greater than anything we could rush on our own.
So breathe. Slow down. Trust Him.
Because sometimes being still is the bravest thing we can do.
